Behind the Bar: Cheryl’s Halloween Cocktail

Spooky season is upon us and we’re back with another installment of “Behind the Bar,” but this time Cheryl is the bartender! I’m so excited to bring you her pick today because it feels perfect for the holiday, without being super fussy or over-the-top. This Blackberry Prosecco Spritzer is something I’m confident everyone could make and enjoy!

Cheryl chose a fizzy, refreshing, and sweet drink to add to your Halloween menu this year. I love how the blackberries give it a beautiful red color when muddled well (do not skip this step if you want it to be this beautiful red tone!). And yet, the blackberries also add the black coloring I love to see in a Halloween cocktail without the fuss of black food coloring or activated charcoal. (Yes, it can get intense out there in Halloween drink land!) The Hendrick’s Gin made a beautiful addition visually to the set up with it’s amazing black bottle, so if you’re planning on having your alcohol displayed for a party or gathering definitely grab a bottle.
