Styled Shoots at McAlister-Leftwich House

Last spring Adorn Collective Workshops hosted their Greensboro workshop at McAlister-Leftwich House! It was so much fun to watch so many photographers and creative minds at work. They really brought so much beauty to the space. Today, we are going to take a look at those photoshoots and discuss some of the gorgeous locations for styled shoots at McAlister-Leftwich House!

When you book the venue for a styled shoot, you have access to the all of McAlister (including both the Bridal & the Groom’s Suites!), the first floor of Leftwich, and the grounds. Its’ safe to say, you have a plethora of options for your styled shoot! Above, the connector hall was utilized for this dreamy session. They closed the doors leading to Leftwich and added a floral installation unlike anything we’ve ever seen!

Just like in the connector hall, for the boudior shoot in Dixon, there was a beautiful floral install in the bay window. This room is perfect for a floral install or a ceremony set up. We’ve seen it dressed up and left alone, no matter what, light is always streaming in through all of the windows! Such a lovely room that is used for many purposes.

And friends, the floral beauty didn’t stop inside! This incredible ceremony backdrop was so detailed, yet simple at the same time. The best part about styled shoots here is that you have access to the grounds, which means you can take advantage of the incredible architecture that both historic homes have to offer.

And look at these detailed shots! How beautiful? We love how the Garden Nook was used for the tablescape. This is not a view of Dixon’s bay window you see often, and we think you should! Also, that cake in the connector hall? Just perfection.

Of course, you don’t need to bring anything to make your vision come true! In this engagement session, the venue itself created the perfect setting!

Finally, the Bridal Suite was used for a few different sessions. The Bridal Suite consists of four different rooms created for four different purposes. The possibilities for your styled shoot are endless in that suite! In the suite there is plenty of natural light, tall ceilings, and beautiful details!

We loved having Adorn Collective Workshop here! The time they were here brought so much creativity into the venue and there’s nothing better than that! To make this workshop happen, there were a ton of incredible vendors. Those vendors Instagram handles are listed below!
