In June of 2022, we were lucky enough to host Hampton and Lauren’s wedding day! The best part? They are family! Hampton is Cheryl’s son and Kaitlin’s little brother. It was a dream come true to host a family wedding at the venue! Their day was full of their personality and vision. Today, we’re going to talk a walk down memory lane!
The bridal and groom’s suite were put to good use! Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready and relaxed in the bridal suite. They used the dining room, make up room, and of course, took photos in the dressing room in front of the gorgeous gold mirror. Hampton and his groomsmen relaxed by playing cards and putt-putt. These private suites are the perfect way to calm down before your big day.
Hampton & Lauren chose to do a first look and their own private vow exchange before the ceremony. The intimate moment was so special and something they’ll never forget. Being able to block out the chaos of the day and recenter on the two of them was just what they needed! The McAlister porch was the perfect backdrop for this!
Lauren made her entrance through the doors of McAlister. This unique aisle was so perfect! We love how many ways there are to make a grand entrance throughout the venue. Depending on your vision and needs, there’s bound to be the perfect place to enter!
The ceremony, held in the Garden Nook, was so intimate and perfect. The Garden Nook is nestled between both homes with the connector hall as the backdrop. Being surrounded by family and friends, you can feel the love and support!
Cocktail hour was located in Gant while the tables were set up on the front lawn of Leftwich. Once cocktail hour was complete, the two made their grand entrance down the stairs of Leftwich! It was so much fun!
They also chose to have their sweetheart table separate from the guests. They wanted 10-20 minutes of uninterrupted time to celebrate being married and actually eat! They ate as guests got their food and ate. Once they were done, they went back to the lawn to greet and mingle with guests.
And then… it was time to party! The reception took place in Gant where toasts were made and guests danced the night away! This was a special event and we think about reliving it every day!
