Styled Shoots at McAlister-Leftwich House

We love hosting all different kinds of events at McAlister-Leftwich. We’ve seen it all, from a micro wedding to a 1st birthday party with a llama (yes, a llama! it was amazing), we love helping your dream come true. That is the same for photographers wanting to host styled shoots or workshops at McAlister-Leftwich House.

When doing a styled shoot at McAlister-Leftwich, you have access to both homes and the grounds. That includes the first floor to both McAlister and Leftwich, the beautiful connector hall, the bridal suite & groom’s suite in McAlister, the lawn, and all of the beautiful nooks and crannies throughout the property.

When you book your time at McAlister-Leftwich, be sure to account for your set up and tear down time as that should be done within your booked timeframe. This allows us to be sure your entire experience at MLH is wonderful. But no worries, we will stay out of your hair while you’re here for your styled shoot.

We have a lot of vendors collaborate for their styled shoots and we absolutely love it! The styled shoot featured on this blog is a wonderful example of that. The vendors all came together to carry out a beautiful vision that highlighted all vendor talents.

Styled shoots are some of our favorite days because we love seeing how different creatives interpret the space and choose to highlight certain areas. For this particular session, they utilized each part of the venue. From the beautiful bay windows in Dixon to the bridal suites, from the connector hall to our back parking lot, the team really captured the beauty of McAlister-Leftwich!

We love, love, love having styled shoots here! If you’re interested or would like to see more inspiration, head over to our Instagram @mcalisterleftwich.
