How to Make Your Day Stand Out

When you are planning your wedding, there are so many aspects to consider. Flowers, color scheme, location, the flow of your day…. it can be overwhelming! Not to mention, you don’t want a cookie cutter day! You want it to be unique and celebrate you and your significant other! Today, we are going to give you three quick ways to ensure your day stands out and celebrates your style!

Pops of Color

Light, bright, and airy is all the rage, but what if you also love color? Don’t be afraid to add pops of color throughout your day. From the invitation suite to the cake, there are so many places to add little pops of color. Have fun with it and be sure to represent your style through the colors you choose!

Specialty Rentals

Using specialty rentals and unique pieces for your wedding ensures that guests will remember your day! You can go all out and rent beautiful farmhouse tables and unique chairs or choose one specific place to highlight a specialty rental (coffee bar or soft seating are two examples). Be sure to budget in a bit extra for this as it is something that you’re adding on to a wedding day. If you don’t have a large budget for this, find one or two pieces that you love and see if you can incorporate those! Again, it doesn’t have to be elaborate to make a statement.

Push the Evelope

Don’t want a white dress? Find something with color! Want a unique guest experience? Decide what you want and do it! Don’t love traditional cake? Find what you love! Remember, it’s your day… it’s not your sister’s day or your best friend’s day. They have their own unique style (and that’s amazing!) but you do what works for you! Be sure to run any logistical ideas by your planner and venue. They are there to help! If they think it can work, they will do everything in their power to make it happen. If they give another suggestion, listen to it! They know the venue and how weddings flow. Their goal is to make your dreams come to life in a way that honors you and your guests the day of the wedding!

We hope these tips help as you plan your day!
