One of those is the ever stunning Julian Price House. We have partnered with the owners of Julian Price House, Michael and Eric, to offer you A Weekend in Historic Fisher Park!
About the Venue
The McAlister-Leftwich House is an enchanting venue consisting of two mansions (built in 1875 and 1915) nestled on the edge of Fisher Park Historic District and downtown Greensboro.
With a rich history spanning almost 150 years, the McAlister-Leftwich House has been transformed into a boutique wedding and event venue that can accommodate up to 125 guests for a seated reception and 150 for a cocktail reception.
Whether you choose an indoor ceremony and reception, or you utilize our manicured lawn, the possibilities are endless! It’s our mission to ensure your wedding day is as stress-free as possible.
About the Accommodations
Built in 1929, “Hillside” is located on a bluff overlooking the western lobe of Fisher Park. The sprawling 31 room residence is an example of Period Revival architecture, specifically designed to evoke a rambling English Tudor home.
You will have access to the entire estate, including 5 exquisitely designed rooms that can sleep up to 9 guests, a dining room, fully equipped breakfast room, complete gourmet kitchen, library, large living room and sun room, outdoor screened patio, large graveled courtyard, 1.6 acre grounds and gardens.
The Experience
The Classic Experience includes McAlister-Leftwich House as your wedding venue and accommodations at Julian Price House for three nights.
ThePremium Experience includes McAlister-Leftwich House as your wedding venue, accommodations at Julian Price House for three nights, and access to Julian Price House for your Rehearsal Dinner & Farewell Brunch.
You can choose to elevate your experience by upgrading to an All Inclusive Wedding Package with McAlister-Leftwich House, reserving additional nights at Julian Price House, adding on trolley transportation from JPH to MLH, and adding on a tented Rehearsal Dinner or Reception.
Imagine this… starting your weekend with a rehearsal for your ceremony at McAlister-Leftwich then heading over to Julian Price for your rehearsal dinner in their courtyard. Just look at that courtyard… how dreamy! Once your rehearsal dinner has concluded, you and eight other guests (maybe the bridal party or close family and friends) head up to your rooms in Julian Price. The next morning, you head over to McAlister-Leftwich House to get ready and relax! Maybe even book the trolley? Yes, please! Then, you and your loved ones have the most beautiful day celebrating your love at McAlister-Leftwich House. Finally, to round out this magical weekend, you host a Farewell Brunch at Julian Price for your loved ones. I mean, come on… what is more perfect that that?
