Royal-Inspired Wedding Trends

With so many beautiful royal weddings over the past few years, we are loving all of the inspiration. Did anyone else wake up in the wee hours of the morning to watch them?! While we can’t all be royalty, there are some simple ways you can incorporate these trends into your own wedding.

Greenery Galore

I had a mini heart attack over this massive greenery installation at Prince Harry & Meghan’s wedding. Talk about stunning! Incorporate this look into your wedding by asking your florist to do a variety of greenery and white blooms. Mimic Meghan’s bouquet with a simple yet beautiful bouquet of one type of white flower of your choice.

At McAlister-Leftwich, we add greenery just about anywhere we can fit it! The timeless simplicity will surely give your wedding a royal touch.

Classic Color Palette

Stick to a simple palette. Prince Harry & Meghan used black and white and it’s anything but boring! While I love color there is something so timeless about this look. Add in some greenery for bouquets and you have a subtle touch of color that brightens it all!

Sophisticated Long Sleeve Gowns

Long sleeve gowns have an extra level of sophistication. They feel mature yet feminine, and although they are modest there’s nothing bland about them! Incorporate this style by choosing a gown with long sleeves. Below are a couple of my favorite long sleeve gowns at BHLDN:
